Facial Vein Lasers (532nm & 940nm lasers)

Dr. Ting and Dr. Tomcik are expert laser practitioners of both 532nm and 940nm lasers which are the state of the art medical laser to immediately eradicate facial veins, angioms, seborrheic keratosis and lentigines.

Facial veins are brought upon by vasodilation of fine capillaries, most commonly seen in the setting of acne rosacea and sun damage. There are a variety of different triggers, most important of which is sun exposure. Other common exacerbating factors  include heat, alcohol, caffeine, spicy foods, hot beverages, etc. Just about anything that brings about prolonged facial flushing may bring back facial veins or telangiectasias even after they have been treated with 532nm or 940nm lasers. Some families (e.g. Northern Europeans) are more genetically predisposed to have a 'Celtic Complexion' along with facial veins.
